Esther Maasdam

Your barista, coffeeroaster and allround coffee and hospitality connoisseur

Working in coffee and events since 2004, Esther has been keen on introducing as many people as she can to specialty coffee.

Bringing great coffee everywhere is what she lives for. This can be through serving a coffee on an event or training newly passionate barista’s.

She has served coffee on events from Rio de Janeiro to Shanghai and off course all throughout Europe.

Never losing sight of the quality of the coffee but with an immense focus on hospitality and the human side of things.

Our Coffee

Manhattan Coffee Roasters

We work with Manhattan Coffee Roasters for all our event coffee. This is Esther’s own coffee roastery run together with Ben Morrow. In Ben, Esther has found a partner with an equal amount of passion, experience, drive for excellence and prize winning competitions.

Especially for her events she has created the Connoisseurs Choice blend which will always be freshly roasted for each event. When your customers drink her coffee on your event it’s coffee that is sourced green, roasted and blended all by their hand.

Latte Art Championships

Esther is the Dutch Latte Art Champion 2011-2014, scoring 5th place in the
World Latte Art Chamionships in 2013.

Barista Championships

Esther won 4th price in the Dutch Barista Championships in 2016.

Cup Tasters Championships

Esther won 1st price in the Dutch Cup Tasters Championships in 2017.

Coffee In Good Spirits

In 2014 Esther won 5th place in the Dutch Coffee In Good Spirits Championships.

Global Barista Celebration Challenge

In 2015 Esther was the runner up in the Global Barista Celebration Challenge in Harbin China (GBCC)

Dalla Corte Oneshot Latte Art Throwdown

In 2013 Esther won de Dalla Corte Oneshot Latte Art Throwdown in Melbourne Australia.

Coaching

Anouk Rodenburg

Esther coached Anouk Rodenburg in the Latte Art Championships in 2018. Anouk scored 1st in the Dutch Championships and 23rd in the World Championships.

Merijn Gijsbers

Esther coached Merijn Gijsbers in the Barista Championships in 2017. Merijn scored 1st in the Dutch Championships and 16th in the World Championships.

Ben Morrow

Esther coached Ben Morrow in the Latte Art Championships in 2016. Ben scored 1st in the Australian Championships and 6th in the World Championships.
